In these LAN tests we will use JPerf to see how it behaves with multiple threads in the local network. NHX6755 has NAT hardware and its firmware implements this function.
With 100 threads we get a speed of 113 MB / s.
With 250 threads we get a speed of 112 MB / s.
With 500 threads we get a speed of 112 MB / s.
With 750 threads we get a speed of 110 MB / s.
With 1,000 threads we have a speed of 109MB / s.
In the following table you can see the values we have obtained with different numbers of threads:
Threads LAN-LAN | 100 | 250 | 500 | 750 | 1000 |
NHX6755 | 113 MB / s | 112 MB / s | 112 MB / s | 110 MB / s | 109 MB / s |
In this test we will simulate how it will behave with P2P since we will connect multiple cables from the LAN to the WAN.
With 100 threads we get a speed of 113MB / s.
With 250 threads we have a speed of 113MB / s.
With 500 threads we get a speed of 111 MB / s
With 750 threads we have a speed of 94.4MB / s.
With 1000 threads we get a speed of 108 MB / s.
In the following table you can see the values we have obtained with different numbers of threads:
Threads LAN-WAN | 100 | 250 | 500 | 750 | 1000 |
NHX6755 | 113 MB / s | 113 MB / s | 111 MB / s | 94.4 MB / s | 108 MB / s |
In all the tests, we have launched the Jperf client-server with 50 simultaneous TCP threads to verify the wireless speed, the server located on the wired LAN and the client on the WLAN.
First we start with the 2.4GHz band where we can get up to 574Mbps theoretical with this wireless router. Here you have the results obtained with the JPerf client-server with 50 concurrent TCP threads, and a comparison with all the Wi-Fi cards we have tested with this router.

Now let's check the wireless performance that we have 5 GHz band with low channels, in fact, the channel used in the tests is channel 40. In this band we have available AX Wi-Fi technology and the 80MHz channel width activated, since This model does not support 160MHz channel widths, so we cannot squeeze the maximum Wi-Fi cards that support this channel width.

USB tests are like what we have been doing regularly. We will verify the speed of reading and writing in NTFS format since we will copy files larger than 4GB (videos in high definition). We will perform the measurements with the Samba server that incorporates the router and also via FTP. All tests will be carried out with an SSD and a USB 3.0 housing to always obtain the maximum possible performance.
The NHX6755 router allows us to configure the ports in USB 3.0 mode to obtain the maximum possible Speed, and also in USB 2.0 mode to avoid interference in the 2.4GHz band. We have configured the USB 3.0 port as USB 3.0 and the USB 2.0 port as a USB 2.0 port to see the performance differences

FTP on USB 3.0 port
